On the 25th March 2011 I went to the BBC in Manchester and I was on Heather Stott’s radio show with two other people – my grandad Eddie Potts, and Gillian Moncaster, a lady from Manchester City Council. I was interviewed about something called the ‘Dignity Badge’ for Brownies. It was quite nerve-racking and I was quite scared but once I started doing it, it felt really good. I knew lots of people were listening so that was probably the thing that made me most nervous. I got told that my class (Miss Roberts) listened and then cheered at the end!

Japan Fashion Show

In an effort to support the crisis in Japan, three Year 5 pupils decided to plan and coordinate a school fashion show. On the 8th April, children paraded in the show, dressing in designated categories such as ‘High Fashion’. The event raised an impressive £148.27. Well done to all involved, especially the organising pupils.
