London Calling…

On Tuesday 16th October 2012, sixteen lucky pupils were chosen to represent St. Philip’s on a once-in-a-lifetime trip to London. Organised by the School Council, the purpose of the day was to visit the Houses of Parliament and meet our local MP, Graham Stringer. As part of the day, Mr Barrett kindly arranged for the pupils to go on the London Eye, visit Buckingham Palace and undertake a tour of the Houses of Parliament – where they were fortunate enough to watch a live debate! Before meeting the MP, pupils participated in a ‘democracy workshop’, which they thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you to Mr Barrett for such as fantastic day!
