In the week beginning 3rd June, pupils from Classes K and L took part in a residential trip to Lledr Hall, North Wales. The children learnt how to climb a mountain, gorge walk, traverse the high ropes and lead a friend through the dreaded ‘night line’. The ethos of the centre is team work and our pupils greatly enjoyed working together on some challenging activities! Below are a selection of some of the photographs taken throughout the week.
In preparation for Christmas, pupils in Classes K and L have been baking this week with Mrs Cookson. In groups, they weighed their ingredients, mixed them together and cut shapes to create gingerbread cookies. They were yummy!
Pupils in Years 5 and 6 have been studying the artist L.S Lowry in art and design. The wonderful 3D models below have been crafted by pupils from Year 5/6 in Mrs Harney’s class. The children are really pleased with their creations!
