CAFOD Fundraising

Throughout December our classes have been raising money for the charity CAFOD. Each class tried to do something different to raise their funds including; trying to break world records, undertaking ‘bush tucker trials’, making popcorn for a film afternoon and holding a WWII day. Proceeds from the events allowed each class to choose an item from CAFOD’s World Gifts catalogue which supports families and communities in developing countries. The children greatly enjoyed sharing their love and kindness to those in need this Christmas.

The Big Feed for Children in Need

On Friday 18th November, the juniors had the chance to fill their bellies, satisfy their cravings and donate to a wonderful cause, all thanks to three of our year 3 girls from Miss Magdzinski’s class! Erin Barton, Olivia Carroll and Emily Jordan took it upon themselves to raise money for Children in Need……they slaved away to bake and decorate hundreds of delicious cakes to sell to the junior children. As you can see in the photos, the empty trays show their success. As a result of their hard work and commitment to the cause they managed to raise £56.55 for the charity!! Well done girls and thank you to everybody who donated money and helped this cause.
