Photographers of Faith

The children in Class 7 were asked to think about how they could represent β€œFaith” using only images of their hands. We thought about what our faith means to us, and tried to depict ideas such as mercy, love, friendship, togetherness, support, solidarity, kindness and belief. The children worked in groups to photograph their hands and then they edited their photos using the Pixlr software on the iPads. We are very proud of the images that we have created!

St.Peregrine’s Spring House TreatπŸ¦‚πŸ•·πŸπŸŠ

Our Spring house winners, St. Peregrine, were treated to a day full of surprise visitors when Ranger Rob and friends arrived at school last Wednesday morning. Children were given the opportunity to meet, learn about and get up close to some incredibly unusual species; these were certainly not your everyday visitors! Have a peek at the video below of the highlights of the day. Well done, St.Peregrine! Keep up your excellent behaviour and attitude. πŸ‘ŒπŸ½πŸ†β™₯️

Pudding Lane, St.Philip’s, 1666 πŸ”₯

Class 3 have been learning all about ‘The Great Fire of London’ in History. In DT, they created their own Tudor houses and made a little London. Today, Class 3 recreated the ‘Great Fire’, which started on Pudding Lane. They then collected buckets of water from the River Thames and worked as a team to put out the fire. All had a fantastic time!Β
