INSalford was designed by Mrs Slack, Mr Barrett and Mr Cooper as a tribute to John Stephens, Deputy of Director of Childrens’ Services, who moved to another Authority in 2009. John received a framed copy to always remember his time in Salford. This montage style art work will be developed with Year 6 pupils in the Summer Term.
This week, Year 6 have been studying evaporation, condensation and the water cycle. As part of a lesson, we watched a useful video on YouTube to help us remember how the water cycle works! You can have a look at the video here:
On Friday 15th January, a eight of our Year 6 boys will take part in a national football tournament run by the Premier League. Schools from across Manchester will take part, with the victorious school representing none other than Manchester United in a national competition. The standard of the competition will be exceptionally high, but we wish our boys all the best.
In late November, Officers from GMPTE visited school to present and exciting award. Two Year 6 boys, who handed a lost purse containing £50 in to the police, recieved a special citizenship certificate. A truely Christian act from some very sensible boys. Well done!
Just before Christmas, the Choir performed at many venues, including The Bridgewater Hall and The Ramada Hotel. We hope you enjoy the photographs above.
